Developed using proven social marketing methods, Get Active Today offers TV station partners the opportunity to provide a resource for being active and healthy in their community.
About the Program Creators
Get Active Today is a program of Active Across America, a social marketing company committed to engaging individuals in discussing, achieving, promoting and sustaining healthy, active lifestyles and Ascedia, a web experience company specializing in website and mobile development, social web programs, search engine optimization, and hosting, partnered to develop and launch Get Active Today.
Equally as important to presence is the credibility of the message. We are not the experts in public and community health nor in how to incorporate health and fitness into schools, workplaces and communities, so ensure the greatest level of credibility, we reached out to a network of collaborators and partners who provide a wide range of programs and resources related to our mission. In addition, we have assembled an advisory board of experts in the fields of health, fitness, nutrition, school administration, coaching, workforce wellness and community outreach to direct content and provide advice and counsel on the program.
